Neutering
There can be strong advantages to neutering your dog or bitch, but the timing is important. Too early and your dogs development can be affected. We prefer to spay bitches between their first and second season i.e. 2to 3 months after their first season.
Stops the mess of heats and prevents unwanted pregnancies
Reduces the risk of mammary cancer
Stops the worry of pyometra (serious womb infection)
Stops the problem of false pregnancy Dogs are preferably castrated at around their first birthday
Helps to prevent wandering especially when your neighbours’ bitch is in season!
Can help to reduce aggression related to sexual prowess Reduces libidos behaviour. E.g. “humping” inanimate objects
